what made me join ucd
I joined UCD to take advantage of its excellent funding opportunities (e.g., MSCA co-fund), interdisciplinary research centres (e.g., SFI Insight Research Centre for Data Analytics, FutureNeuro, and Centre for Digital Policy), and professional opportunities (e.g., innovation in teaching professional certificate, PM2 training)
I study how people create, maintain, and use personal data and information. My mission is to make people more effective curators and users of their own records. My research seeks to improve reduce burdens associated with personal information management during life transitions.
CURRENT RESEARCH
The Dementia Data Reciprocity Project (DDRP) aims to better understand existing personal health data collection and management among people with dementia and caregivers in order to develop creative solutions for sharing real-world personal health data that supports dementia research and service delivery.
